Prof. Hennie Steyn has been the Dean of the Faculty of Education at the North West University for the last eight years as well as rector of the College of Education, Potchefstroom.

Under his capable leadership the whole concept of the DBD and electronic-mobile learn was born and developed. Prof. Steyn is world-renown in educational circles and is often a speaker at international conferences.

His passion for our country and language, as well as the renewal and enrichment of education is unequalled. He is his contemporaries far ahead and his renewal way of thinking will be known in our country, Africa and international for a long time yet to come.
